By accessing and using Luno ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Luno is a food tracking and nutrition analysis application that helps users:

• Track meals and nutrition using photos, voice, or text
• Analyze nutritional content using AI-powered recognition
• View analytics and insights about eating habits
• Generate monthly recaps and reports (Pro feature)
• Export personal data (Pro feature)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation: You may use Luno anonymously or create an account using email or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3.2 Account Security: You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3.3 Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Pro Tiers: Luno offers both free and paid Pro subscriptions. Free users have access to basic features with daily limits (3 meals per day). Pro users get unlimited access to all features.

4.2 Pricing:

• Monthly Pro: $2.99/month
• Yearly Pro: $39.99/year

4.3 Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store. All payments are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

4.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.5 Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not directly process refunds.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Data: You retain all rights to the content you create in Luno, including meal photos, voice recordings, and text entries.

5.2 License to Us: By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

5.3 Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

6. AI and Nutrition Analysis

6.1 Accuracy: Luno uses AI-powered image recognition and nutrition databases to estimate nutritional content. While we strive for accuracy, the information provided is an estimate and should not be relied upon as medical advice.

6.2 Not Medical Advice: Luno is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a healthcare professional for dietary and health decisions.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our IP: The Luno app, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding user content), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our explicit written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Warranties: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9.2 Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Third-Party Services

Luno integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Gemini AI for image recognition
• Supabase for data storage
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• OneSignal for push notifications
• Apple HealthKit (optional)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
